God is not content with the small expectations that I place upon Him, and His presence has been overwhelming me with revelation after revelation. God has been working in mighty ways- through visions, healings, declarations, through His word alone, and also through His powerful voice. The craziest part is my eyes are open, my ears are tuned in, and I am taking it all in as if I can see and hear for the first time.
God is removing the veil!
First let me say this, your seat at the table is precious to God! He knows when it is empty and you are not present. His desire for you is great. His desire for me is great. The seat that He prepares for us at His table is specific to us. If someone else were to sit in your seat it would still be empty and void of your presence. We all have a special place at the table, and He longs for us to take our seat. He wants us right up in the middle of all the action. His desire for us is not that awkward seat at the end of the table that no one likes because you can’t hear or speak. Come on I insist that you take your seat. I am taking mine.
Maybe you are someone who understands your inheritance at the table, but maybe you don’t understand the inheritance of others. As someone going after the nations, after the lost, the least, the hopeless I have had to check my perspective daily. I started to realize my inheritance, but at times have lost perspective of where others fit into the equation. We must see others the same as ourselves. We are all called sons and daughters. If you are like myself I encourage you to remember that your neighbors seat at the table is just as precious to God, and learning to see them this way you will see them the way the Lord sees them. You will see their value, their worth, and their significance.
This week we were able to go to some really unclean places, one of them being the city dump. Picture this not only were people rummaging through trash all day long, but many of them slept right there in that dump. Their house and bed were literally made out of trash, and the stench so powerful that hundreds of vultures hovered overhead. Now I had a choice. I could choose to see the people as nothing more than the trash they live and work in or I could choose to seem them as royalty.
This brings me to another huge revelation. You see God does not only invite you to dine with Him at the table, but invites you to be crowned. That is our inheritance, to become royalty.
I will say it to you yet again; your seat at the table is precious to God!
