STOP THE CLOCK!
Why is it that during the seasons of life when time is your most needed resource, it seems to run through your fingers like water?
Now, more than ever, time is of the essence as I prepare and raise support for the World Race this January. As I sit here writing this, I can't help but feel as though it was no more than a week ago that I started on this Journey, when in actuality it was months ago. Time is running short and there is still so much to do!

It was only weeks before Christmas of 2010 when I stumbled upon The World Race website and at that moment I realized that it was the Lord that had led me there. So i considered, prayed, got excited…..AND accepted my early Christmas gift from the Lord as He opened up my heart and placed in it the desire and call to go on The World Race in 2012.
SET…
After getting accepted to the January 2012 squad I began to realize the magnitude of this great adventure the Lord was calling me to embark on.
- 11 countries in 11 months: Philippines, India, China, Nepal, Mozambique, Swaziland, South Africa, Moldova, Romania,Haiti, Dominican Republic. (when I have never once traveled overseas)
- Living completely out of my backpack, sleeping bag and possibly even tent for 11 months (I like to camp, but usually for no more than a week at a time)
- $15,500 (yes, that figure is correct.)
- WHAT?!?! (haha)
"Never mind that Rebecca" said the Lord, "You need not worry, for it is I your Father, the creator of heaven and earth who has called you."
And so it is, I am not worried :). He will provide and I have great comfort and peace in that assurance.
GO…
And so, without hesitation, I go. But as I go I ask for you to join me. Yes, team with me through prayer, as I head into the battlefield. I NEED your prayers.
Along the way we will be a part of:
Evangelism, miracles, revivals, weeping, rejoicing and loving.
However will also be faced with:
Trials, tribulation, spiritual oppression, spiritual attacks and heartache.
So PLEASE, I ask, PRAY!

I am currently working two jobs, and will sell all of my belongings, but that won't be enough. I need $15,500, airfare, gear and personal expenses for this trip. I could easily grow discouraged thinking about it, but really it's not that much. It breaks down so nicely: 71 people supporting me $20 a month/11 months or 28 people supporting me $50 a month/11 months, you get the idea. I ask you to prayerfully consider a tax-deductible donation of any amount, or a monthly pledge.
