th to mentally, physically, and spiritually prepare forAugust’s departure. Since I have been without a car since May, I would
take the bus or ask friends for rides or to borrow their car, a
humbling experience in itself. I am so independent, it was hard to let
go my pride to be dependent and flexible, but something the Lord Jesus
wanted me to let go so I can be more like Him in humility.

a couple of friends’ yards and helped them with house projects. I liked
this because it helped strengthened me physically and allowed me to use my
“executive” personality type to plan, structure, and finish tasks with
creativity and liberality. The feeling of accomplishment…AHHHHH! There’s
nothing wrong with feeling good about a good work. 🙂
different friend each week to help out with whatever they needed, to
fellowship with them and be strengthened spiritually through praying,
and to help myself in figuring out what items I got for my mission trip
need to be left behind. Believe me. I have left behind more things this
month than any other month I had to prepare. So thank you friends for
being patient with me while in transition for this month.
