So remember when I said that I had posted my last blog before China? I guess I lied.

But that’s only because an important change has happened!

Not only are we on a new continent, but my team has changed! Actually basically every team on our squad has shifted around.

So I am no longer on Team RedeemIng D.U.S.T. And while it’s difficult and sad, I am confident in what God is doing on our squad, and I am excited for the new things God has for us.

Instead I am now on an all-female team of comprised of six beautiful women of God.

Two of them are my former team mates – Lynette Alegria, who is now our team leader, and Anna Primrose. And now I have three new sisters – Katie Noble, Alexzandra Rangel, and Sara Hernandez!

We spent our first night together exploring the streets of Hong Kong, doing what girls do best – shopping and eating. And while we were out, we came up with our new team name – Hidden Refuge.

One of our biggest desires as a team is that we will be a safe place for each other and for the people that we meet.

We finally decided to call our team Hidden Refuge based on the image God describes in Song of Solomon 2:14, which says “O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, in the crannies of the cliff, let me see your face, let me hear your voice, for your voice is sweet and your face is lovely.”

We want to be a team of peace, like doves, who are hidden in Christ, the Rock of our salvation.
So that is our prayer and I ask that you would please pray for us as a team as we transition into this new season in a new culture. Also, please pray for our safety and God’s provision.

Two of my new team members, Katie and Sara, have yet to meet their $11,000 deadline. The deadline was actually a few days ago, but thankfully there has been grace so far. But they still really need your help!

Because we will have absolutely no Internet for the whole month of December, there is no way for them to raise their own support via online methods. That means it is absolutely essential that you sieze the moment and donate right now!

Please click one of the two links below to help them meet their fundraising checkpoint:

With that, this is just another reminder that I will have absolutely no Internet in China at all. Please use wisdom in any e-mails or Facebook posts you send me, and please understand that I will not be able to reply to anything until January next year.

Again, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and thank you for your prayers and support for me and my team mates!
