ONLY 15 DAYS UNTIL LAUNCH!
Crazy, right?!?! AHHHH!
1. MY ENTIRE SQUAD IS FUNDED TO LAUNCH ON SEPT. 5!
That means that all of the people I went to training camp with now have $6500 in their Adventures in Missions accounts, and we will all be lauching from Chicago to Africa together! This is an amazing blessing and basically a miracle. God is so good!
I just want to say a ridiculously giant thank you to those of you who donated to my squad mates! On behalf of I Squad, we are all so thankful for your generosity! It is amazing to see how God has provided not only for me as an individual but for our group as a whole. Glory to God!
The next deadline we need to meet as a squad is to have each racer at $11,000 by Dec. 1. Look for future posts from me about how you can help with that!
2. MY ROUTE HAS CHANGED!
Our World Race routes are always subject to change, and my squad has now experienced the first of possibly several route changes. Our squad coordinator shared these with us via Facebook today, so I want to pass the information along to all of you!
The changes are:
1. The order of our Asian countries changed. India and China switched places, so I'll be in China for Christmas and New Years' Eve!
2. We will no longer be going to Moldova. We're going to Romania instead. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little bit bummed about this. I was really looking forward to Moldova because that country has been on my heart for a long time, and it's one of the countries God used to direct me toward this particular World Race route. However, I know God has me right where He wants me and now He is leading me to Romania, which is actually pretty cool because I have some Romanian heritage! So I'm excited.
3. The order of our European countries also changed. We'll be going to Romania first instead of Ukraine first.
The route is now as follows:
September – Zimbabwe and/or Botswana
October – South Africa
November – Swaziland
December – China
January – Philippines
February – India
March – Romania
April – Ukraine
May – Honduras
June – Nicaragua
July – Costa Rica and/or Panama
