Here I go!

Just a few weeks ago I finally got a break from my last quarter in college and started raising support for my trip. I had written a draft of the letter months ago, but it needed some polishing. Seeing as I graduated college three days ago (!!!!) I think my letter needs a little editing once again.

I also created a Facebook group in the process and I designed some shirts through Fund The Nations. So far I only have the Spanish design (since I'm visiting friends and family in Chile in a week and thought I should sell some there first), but the English shirts will be available in a few months.

Our first deadline is about three months away, which seems like a long time, except I have to have $3,500 in my account by then and that would mean raising $1,000 a month. I've never done support-raising before, so I don't know if that is a lot or not. Regardless, I am fully confident that God will provide these funds, because He called me to go on this trip and He keeps reminding me daily of how much He wants me to go love on His people throughout the world next year.

If you feel called to support me, you can go to: https://www.adventures.org/give/donate.asp?giveto=worldrace&desc=For%20Raquel%20Stewart and give directly to my account, or you can mail a check payable to Adventures in Missions with “Appealed by StewartRaquel” on the memo line to: Adventures in Missions, P.O. Box 534470, Atlanta, GA 30353.

If you cannot give financially at the moment, I ask that you please join me in prayer as I wait for God's plan to continue unfolding.

Oh! I also wrote an "About Me" a while back, but I realize it doesn't show up on the main page of my blog. So if you want to know who I am (drum roll…), click here for random facts!

January Racers from Route 3, I cannot wait to meet you in October 🙂

Thanks for reading,

Raquel
