At the house that my team has been staying at for the month of October, there was an older gentleman, Dr. Heny, who had just moved in (A friend of our contacts Louie and Erika). He was a Pastor at one time and he has so much wisdom. He took some time to get to know each one of us and spent time with God to get a word for us. He called Abby, Jillian and myself into his room with Louie and Erika. He gave a great word to Jillian, they prayed over her and then he moved onto me.
He read Ezekiel 30:21-25, “Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt. It has not been bound up for healing or put in a sprint so as to become strong enough to hold a sword. Therefore, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt. I will break both his arms, the good arm as well as the broken one, and make the sword fall from his hand. I will disperse the Egyptians among the nations and scatter them through the countries. I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon and put my sword in his hand, but I will break the arms of Pharaoh , and he will groan before him like a mortally wounded man. I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, but the arms of Pharaoh will fall limp. Then they will know that I am the Lord, when I put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon and he brandishes it against Egypt”.
Dr. Heny said that I am untouchable. That no one can lift their sword to me or come against me because the Lord will “break their arms”.
He read two more verses to me; Acts 10:38, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him” & Proverbs 16:24, “Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones”.
He told me that I am going to heal people. That I am going to speak to people and they will be healed. He said it’s not going to be my words but that the Holy Spirit is going to speak through me. He said when I touch people it’s going to be like Jesus is touching them. I am going to heal people physically, emotionally and spiritually. Louie anointed both of my hands with oil and prayed over me. He released the power of healing over me. I received it.
The next morning, one of the staff told myself and my team mate, Imelda, that her leg was hurting. So I knelt down and held her leg and began to pray over her leg. When I finished praying, Imelda was crying. She told the women that she feels like it was not just her leg that was hurting but she sensed something emotional. The women began to tell us that she had a lot of stress and a lot going on emotionally. We sat her down and Imelda began to pray over her. God gave me a scripture for her and I read it from the bible and touch her leg and prayed again over her. When we were done she hugged us and said thank you. She did not tell us if she felt better or not. We moved on with the day. The next day, some of the other girls on my team went with her and a few other staff to a training. I did not go. I was told that they wanted to pray for a young lady who was at the training but she was a little resistant. The woman that we prayed for told the lady “Let them pray for you! They healed me! Let them pray for you”! When the girls came back home and told me this, my heart filled with joy and I thanked God.
God deserves all of the glory. I am so excited to see what God is going to do through me the rest of this race and the rest of my life. I have the gift of healing and I am untouchable. How cool! God is Awesome!
