Well today is the day! Only 100 days left on the Race. So in honor of that, here is 100 things I have learned on the Race!
1. Max capacity in cars doesn’t exist overseas
2. You are famous just because you are American
3. Don’t have any expectations entering a new country, you’ll be wrong
4. Embrace the wonderful opportunity that you have been given
5. Try to stay present as much as you can because time flies
6. Don’t think you are exempt from anything, life happens to all of us
7. You can get a full meal from a 7/11
8. You can learn something from everyone
9. Dogs give me so much joy
10. Kids do too ^
11. Being pulled out of your comfort zone is a good thing
12. Who needs a bed?
13. Who needs a warm shower?
14. Clean drinking water is rare
15. Kids are the same all over the world
16. You can find joy in anything
17. Everyone has their own experience, not just on the World Race but in life
18. I can now build a rock wall
19. I can build and paint a white picket fence (American dream here I come)
20. There is no language barrier with kids 10 and under, a smile is all you need
21. Adaptability is a gift
22. Intimacy with God is the only way to true happiness
23. Don’t take your friends and family for granted
24. People make mistakes, even the Christians
25. Time is relative- Days are long, Months are short
26. Find your worth in God, not people
27. Trash cans are rare overseas
28. Throwing your TP in the toilet, also rare
29. 2-bedroom apartments CAN fit 10 girls
30. Be comfortable in your emotions

32. You can travel 48 hours in a 24 hour slot
33. Community is a necessity
34. Trust in what the Lord says to you
35. Appreciate the little things
36. God is, not was, a miracle worker

38. You can find a deep meaning through God in anything, a garbage alley, a breathtaking view, a small flower
39. Ministry is what you make it
40. The greatest gift you can give/receive is love
41. You really don’t need that full closet of clothes or 42 pairs of shoes

72. Automatic cars are mainly in the states
73. It is possible to have 4 different tan lines (swimsuit, tanktop, t-shirt)
74. Coffee is a universal drink
75. Christianity is not black and white
76. Spiritual disciplines change your relationship with God
