Travel Day.
Here is just a look at our latest travel day, from Bangkok, Thailand to Lushnje, Albania. See if you can follow along 😉
Friday June 2nd
3am- WAKE UP
4am- Leave for Airport
8am- 4 hour flight to New Delhi
10:30am-Arrive in Ne Delhi (Time change -1.5 hours)
1:45pm-Board 9 hour flight to Rome
3pm- Actually leave New Delhi (slight flight delay)
8pm- Arrive in Rome (Time change -3.5 hours)
9pm- leave airport to explore Rome (and celebrate my teammate Courtney’s birthday)
1:30am- re-enter airport
2am-pass out on the ice cold floor of terminal
5:30am- wake up call to gather all 51 people
6:30am- re-check in through security
8:45am- board plane to Tirana, Albania
11am- Arrive in Albania
1:15pm- leave for Lushnje, Albania
2:30pm- Finally Arrive at destination
We traveled a total of 40 hours with little to no sleep. Travel days are exhausting but an adventure none the less. Thankfully we have arrived at our ministry site for the next month and caught up on our sleep. It only took 14 straight hours, but I feel rested and ready to start this month!
