Hello! it is late here in moldova and everyone in my room is asleep. I cant sleep and figured i would try my best to use the little bit of slow internet we have to give you guys a quick update. Tomorrow is sunday and I am planning on spending some significant time writing some blogs for you all! With the internet situation it has been difficult so I appreciate your patience!!!
I will write more about this on my upcoming blog about the kiddos but I have seen DRASTIC differences in Petro. The things that most may not even notice, but I do, things like how Petro went from hitting me to say hello to calmly walking up and looking me in the eye and shaking my hand. Things like instead of running from a hug, coming and pushing his head on my hip as we walk down the street. Things like wild energy with no where to put it being directed in participating in games with the other children and being able to sit still enough to read and learn a bible verse!
This first picture is just a fun moment Amanda caught… but i think it is clear that the Lord has done some major work in both of our hearts…
And this one, was after a long day of playing… we just enjoyed a little moment and I stroked his hair… a mothers touch that I wonder if he ever gets… glad the Lord has allowed me that little bit of time each day.
My heart has totally broken for this little boy, and the good news is, the Lord is showing up! Traveling all this way to see that smile is totally worth it. God will move mountains to save one soul… im glad he has placed me here for this one!
