Sorry I haven’t been able to post these recently.
First some praises!!! Praise God that we got to Haiti safe. There is an exciting video that I will really try and put up before the weekend is over that tells about the adventures we had getting here… lets just say we shouldn’t have gotten here… but we did! So praise God! Also I praise God for my team… walls continue to come down and I love them all so much… we are working well together as a team and I look forward to more, stronger community with them! Also Praise God for this place we are staying… we have showers and great food… some months we wont be so lucky. Praise God that none of us are sick yet, good health so far. Praise God that I have an education degree and that I have been able to put it to very good use here at the school. We have seen HUGE progress since our arrival.
Here are a few specific prayer requests.
1) strength and renewed spirit every day. I give all I have and I need to not only be disciplined in getting filled back up, but pray that I can receive it well so I can continue to pour out!
2) Continued strength and vulnerability in my team. We all want to be challenged and we are going to have to challenge and use each other in order to grow… pray for great unity.
3) pray for specific and clear vision here. There is so much need… and we want to meet the needs God sent our team here for.
4) For the 12 teenage girls we are discipline this month… we want them to experience God in new ways, in ways that bring freedom, in ways that bring a personal relationship…
5) Pray for school and my teaching… that I can do it well, have the energy I need and also that I can discipline when needed but do it in love… I think that is all for now…
