Today marks our second to last day in Malaysia. This morning we took a 5 hour bus ride from Penang to Kuala Lumpur in preparation for our flight to India on Tuesday. God allowed us to have such a sweet ending to our already abundant month. Friday night we spent time worshipping Jesus from 10pm to 1am and He met me there in such a beautiful and precious way, I really believe He allowed me to sing with His angels at one point! I actually doubled over laughing I was so amazed! On Saturday I wrote my sweet Lina a card in her language-Malay (with the help of a translator), and I also bought her a dress and shawl like cover up-in purple, her favorite color (and also the color of royalty-which she IS in Jesus!) as a good-bye. I had no idea how she would receive this gift, I just hoped she wouldn’t toss it immediately. Well Alison and I went to give it to her and she seemed really happy to get it, she held it up to her chest and was smiling. At the same time we had a group of men standing nearby (food vendors near her alley) saying that she was just going to throw the dress away and that she would never wear it and that she had been there for 6 years and had never worn anything people have given her…blah blah blah. We decided to go and get dinner and also get her dinner and stop by later-as we were walking away we turned to see that she was smelling the dress and we thought maybe the clothes she had been given before were “hand me downs” and maybe this is the first new outfit she had received in awhile. Well, when we came back low and behold she was WEARING the dress and shawl and was just SO lovely! We were so happy to see her wearing pretty clothes! We sat with her while she ate and she braided my hair and Alison massaged her hands (Alison is also a massage therapist) and prayed with her and tried our best to explain that we were leaving the next day. We also gave her a picture of our team. Here is a woman who people said NEVER came to the “drop-in” center who came on her own last week, who is “crazy in the head”-who has full conversations with people and sings like an angel, and who never wears clothes people give her-who has the outfit we bought her on…can we say that God is certainly good and is certainly faithful. I love Lina SO much, I have what many people don’t have for her…hope and I serve an amazing and all powerful Father who DOES the impossible. I speak over Lina full restoration of body, soul and spirit and refuse to believe anything else for the outcome of her life.

Jesus said he would leave the “ninety-nine” to go after even one lost sheep. He said- “What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off. In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost.” Lina is like that to me and I am so honored to be a part of God’s pursuit of her! Thank You so much Jesus. I Love You. I Love You. I Love You.
