(This is the blog I could not post on the 19th, I will be posting another to fill in for the rest of the time soon, if I told you ALL that has happened, you would thing I was telling a lie!)
Haha :o) I believe the team is finally into a routine of sorts here in Cambodia, we teach a total of 3 classes per team member, each day for about 3 hours, we have also started painting a mural in the children’s room at church (my contribution so far is a giant sun, and two flowers-I did not inherit my father’s artistic ability), we also visit neighbors and hang out with the youth during the day. The nights here are the toughest as we have no air flow in the church and need to keep the windows closed due to “peeping Cambodian’s”…they are all very curious and sometimes I can understand why celebrities attack paparazzi :o). However, this country is beautiful and we were actually able to find some bikes and have been touring the countryside on our down time, I feel like I’m in a movie sometimes, it’s so lovely! The kids here, especially the little girls are so beautiful! I made sure to include some of their pictures below. We are excited to be getting to know the pastor and his family as well, and are trying our best to be great encouragers to him while we are here. God has also been showing up in our lives in many individual ways, many of the youth have taken quite a liking and interest in us and hang out with us when they aren’t in school, and of course we talk to them about Jesus! We have a couple boys who are very interested in everything we say about Jesus, however most of them are unable to attend church due to the fact that their families would become angry (most are Buddhist), so pray for this to change! We are speaking and singing tomorrow at church and hope for a large crowd. Continue to pray for us as a team, and also for our tummies as we aren’t used to such a big change in diet, but we are believing Jesus to protect our bodies! We could also use prayer for the pastor and his family as they have all had on and off fevers and coughs :o(. I will not be able to post this until I have better internet access, I hope you all are doing well and I miss you so much!!!

This is a store called “Daughters” in Phnom Penh, the girls who work here were previously involved in the sex industry and have been offered a “way out” and make jewelry and do spa things instead, the world race has a team that is currently helping there :o)

Pastor Virak and his baby-Watana, this is his typical serious face, he is always deep in thought, we did make him laugh quite a bit though :o)
