What does all this money go to?
Well, here are the figures.

The total I need to raise is $14,800.  That includes everything on this list:

 
  •   The Breakdown Right HERE:
    • 2% Training Camp ($296)
    • 4% Field Support ($592)
    •    Costs for the squad leaders, coaches and debriefing
    • 12% on field costs ($1,776)
    •    Giving back to the communities we are working in
    • 17% Admin Fees (Travel) $2,516
    • 65% goes directly to me and my immediate needs
    •    $4,800 goes toward intercontinental travel (Such as Eastern Europe to Central America (Boy, is that going to be a looooooonnnnnnnng flight)
    •       $3.75/day for food
    •       $5.25/day for lodging
    •       $3/day for transport in country
    •       $3.33/day for long distance travel and miscellanous stuff like translators and toilet paper
 

It does not include: personal spending money, travel to the training, travel to the start point, return travel home from a major U.S. city at the conclusion of the Race, medical insurance [required], and vaccinations. With the exception of personal spending money, you are permitted to raise additional funds to cover these costs and may reimbursed from the excess support you raise.
