I realize this is somewhat late….but this is what I have for ya’ll. (Yes, I’m surrounded by a ton of southerners, so I will be using the word ya’ll now).
I love these people so much! These 44 people are my new family! Okay, so the God we serve is HUGE! I came into training camp with a ton of pain on my heart…and physical pain. Let me just tell you that if you ask the Lord for something, He WILL give it to you. I came into this with the expectation that God would rid me of junk the enemy has been speaking to me this past year. I also clearly remember praying “God break me.” It has only been less than 3 days, and I can honestly say I have experienced life like I haven’t since Peru when I saw the Spirit manifest himself.
Okay, so since you all are wondering what specifically happened at camp, here you go to the best that I can currently. I’m still trying to process it all.
Personal Change
God broke lies last year in Peru, but this past year I have started to pick them back up and think they are truth. Guess what?! I AM FREED BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB!
Physical Change
I think as a person who is not a runner, I was physically hurting as I took a jog with some squadmates. I felt like I was going to die, (I guess not to that extreme). I am just way out of shape. After running I got a cramp in my leg to the point where I was crabby when jumping and even sitting. But I was healed! No longer did I have to deal with that pain and achiness.
There is only life in the Lord and let me tell you, He has already touched down. In intercession and worship, the Spirit came. REALLY? I have experience something new this week. I was trying to jump around and dance and couldn’t, because of the ache. Well, another squadmate had prayed and right away, HEALING! My joints and muscles feel like nothing has happened, except for the fire of God.
I am so excited to be spending the next 11 months with Z-squad. They always save the best for last, right? 😉 I love these people. They are my brothers and sisters. Check it out! I have no more expectations for camp, except for the fact that I expect more of the Spirit to come and then come some MORE!
Stay tuned to find out who is on my team! ;)…
