It is so beautiful to see the way Jesus works on hearts to serve.
That lovely flyer above was made by my friends Seth and Hannah Farmer.
What a wonderful gift! What a wonderful contribution and support to my journey. I am so. thankful.
I am so thrilled about seeing God go before me and working out everything,
even though there are less than 80 days left before I LEAVE!
I could go on and on about the support i’ve been getting.
That was actually my intention, but the Lord is telling me to share something else….
There is a serious weight of FEAR around me in Nashville this week.
I keep hearing about the spirit of Fear.
Maybe it is this season, and perhaps the weather,
but I just feel like the enemy wants to capture us in fear.
Captured By Fear
fear is the enemy’s plan to keep us from the promises
that God Has called us to. but it’s hard not to fear..
Of COURSE it is hard.
There is often reason for fear when God calls us to something,
but there is never permission for it.
Because [perfect love casts out fear] 1 John 4:18
Friends, family, squad…
The enemy’s plan is to steal, kill, and destroy you.
If you are a freedom fighter,
Satan will do anything he can to negate the word
that God has spoken to you.
There is no small distraction from the devil.
We should CAST OUT all things from the enemy.
Don’t let him steal any part of your life.
Even if it’s a small fear.
Fear is wicked!
Even if there is reason for it.
Do Not Fear – it’s the #1 command in the Bible!
DO NOT BOW TO FEAR!
Satan works in cruel ways:
I have terrible allergies and can hardly speak this week.
And he whispers lies into my family’s ears:
“Rachel will never raise the money in two months”
But I have a word from the KING of KINGS-
I WILL go on the world race in July, Because he said so.
[I hope you will pray and believe with me.]
A good word from my pastor-friend, Caleb:
We filter the word of God through our circumstances,
when we should be filtering our circumstances through the word of God.
We hear a word (or calling) from God, but our
circumstances contradict it or make it seem impossible.
Now what?
WE TRUST.
Increase your faith by searching the scripture for examples of the men and women in their IMPOSSIBLE circumstances, they trusted the Lord (even when they had reason to fear) and they found deliverance.
Isaiah 26:8
YES LORD.
Walking in the way of your truth, we wait eagerly for you,
for your name and your renown are the Desire of our souls.
You order a peaceful and whole life for us because everything
we’ve done, you have done for us.
Lord,
I trust that your plan is to send me on the world race in July.
I am going to trust that you will provide and do what you have promised,
even though it seems impossible. Increase my faith in your word, and also
those who are supporting me and giving of themselves in order to serve
your kingdom. And help us all to cast out any FEAR (no matter how small)
because in your light there is no darkness.
