So there's this guy..
He's really great and super cute.
My heart grew to love him deeper as I spent more time with him.
I long to see him walk toward me.
I desparately desire to hold his hand and stroll down the street with him.

His name is Bon Bon.
(And yes, this also describes my amazing boyfriend, minus his name is Jordan :)).
Bon Bon is 6 years old.
He is one of nine kids.

His mom is raising him and his 8 siblings by herself.
I met Bon Bon as I walked through town praying on Saturday, December 15th.
I saw this little boy in the middle of the street with his knees bent on the ground and feet folded out to the sides behind him.
Layers of dirt were caked onto his hands, knees and feet.
A couple dozen children laughed and played around him.
It wasn't too long before a bystander told me that he couldn't walk.

Immediately I began praying for him.
I asked the Lord to heal him, to strengthen his legs, to give him the ability to stand on his feet, to walk beside me.
I asked in faith. I asked with the authority of Christ. I asked with expectation. I asked the Him to burn away any doubt. I asked for a miracle.
I didn't see Bon Bon walk that day.
I saw him crawl on his knees.
I saw him sit next to his big brother and laugh.
I saw him smile.
I saw hope.

My best friend, Brittany, encouraged me with these words back in September when I began this adventure.
"Sometimes you will see miracles and healing. Sometimes you will see hearts transform and lives renewed. Other times you will not. Don't accept either as a norm, because all things are possible with Him. But not all things are seen with Him. Rejoice when you see miracles and persevere in hope when you do not. He is the same."
"See Him who is unseen." [Hebrews 11:27]
"Now we do not yet see all things subjected to Him. But we do see Him" [Hebrews 2:8-9]
I saw Him as I saw hope for Bon Bon.
Please continue to rejoice with me for the hope that He is and brings to us. Thank the Lord for introducing me to Bon Bon, as well pray in faith for the Lord to continue working in Bon Bon's life.
