Most are simple, but all have been reallyyy good for me.
Honesty/ bringing things into the light/ being unconcealed brings freedom.
I am not alone. ever.
The Lord blesses you with things for you to enjoy and take pleasure in, but your focus shouldn't stay on what you're enjoying, but the One who gave it to you for you to enjoy! This can actually attract others to the Lord as they watch you delight in Him as you enjoy yourself, which ultimately glorifies Him more!
I am LOVED.
The Lord is infinitely gracious, merciful, just, holy & loving. He is bigger and more powerful than anything in the world! He is the Creator!
He HATES sin and cannot be in the presence of it, which is why He removed them from me as far as the east is from the west, which is infinitely far if you think about a globe.. when do you ever start walking west if you start walking east?? never! It's a different story if you think about walking north though :))) [Psalm 103:12]
I should continually be asking the Lord how I can best know Him, serve Him, love Him & glorify Him.
How sweet victory tastes & how the Spirit and the flesh are totally opposed to each other!
I see His faithfulness in every beautiful sky that I see.
I've also been challenged with "where my heart is, there my treasure will be also"… What am I thinking/ daydreaming most about? Is it the Lord? [Honestly? No. I wish that were the case. I desire to be content & thankful in all circumstances & to love and adore Him above all].
Also, that God is not opposed to you having or enjoying nice things, but this life is not about accumulating… How much stuff am I holding on to "just in case"? [a LOT, in case you don't know me very well…]
Prayer Requests:
That I would simply enjoy Him through it all.
I have exactly 3 weeks left in the states.
Dozens of people that I want to see, and more than that, spend quality time with.
$6,620 left to raise.
Decisions of what to pack for the year with a very limited amount of space.
15 more shifts to survive, but desire to thrive in.
And lots of dear teammates that still need to raise enough money to be able to launch with me on Sept. 5th!
