Heal the sick. Raise the dead. Cast out demons.
That’s what Jesus said to do. So that’s what we do.

So says the tagline of the World Race promotion video. I was hooked by this, and came on the World Race fully expecting and hoping to see miraculous things happen.

Well, we have not raised anyone from the dead yet. But God is showing me that miracles come in all forms.

Take Henry for example. Just a few years ago, his life was a mess and he was constantly high on paint thinner. Then our contact this month Tony began investing in Henry’s life: spending time with him, inviting him to the farm, yet always giving Henry the choice. Today Henry is a sweet, loving, hard-working 18-year old young man.

Henry

Now Tony is investing in the life of Cristofer, who just a few weeks ago was in a similar situation as Henry had been in. He hit rock bottom, and on top of it had a defiant attitude towards Tony. Everyone has told Tony not to waste his time with Critofer because he is hopeless. But now Cristofer has come to the farm for this month to get clean from paint thinner. He has had rough moments, but overall has not suffered too badly from symptoms of withdrawal. He now wants to go to a private school, learn to play the piano, and live on the farm with Tony.

Cristofer

Both Henry and Cristofer participated in the baptism a few Sundays ago. Last Sunday, they were presented in front of their church and later were both worshiping God and on their knees in another church service. These boys are living miracles: evidence of God doing the impossible. We are watching them transform before our eyes and it is truly miraculous to see.
