This blog is new for me, and it is extremely challenging. The first few posts where easy were am I going and how did I find the world race. This third one was hard. For a long time (about two weeks) I struggled on what to write. Do I talk about the birth of our savior and how even though the cross is what saves us. That in order for the sacrifice to happen there had to the a birth. Do I talk about the blessing God has given me and my family in the past year. Or of the things I know he has planed for me in the next year.
What it came down to was I didn’t write anything. To be truthful I probably would have gone a long time had it not been for a lady that works in the same building as me. I was feeling somewhat down the fundraiser I had been doing wasn’t going well. I was cleaning up on 5th floor when I came to her desk. She had some earrings sitting on a stand. trying to make some conversation I asked her about them.
She asked which ones where my favorite. Then she said I could have them. She didn’t need to do that, but she did. Just like God didn’t need to send his son, but he did. God has called me to go on this trip, and so God will call people to send me on this trip. I just have to trust him. Even if it is nerve racking and hard. So if God has not sent you then please pray that God will use you as a sender.
