As I walked I praised Him for how good I felt, knowing I just came out of such darkness & unrest. My spirit felt lighter. I traveled back from the main road and saw Jesus walking next to me. I was reminded of that time when He walked next to me and nudged my elbow poking fun and being playful. He didnt do that this time.

He just walked next to me and said to me, “You don’t walk alone.
I said, “Thank You.-several times.
Pausing between thank you
s to let it soak in.
I cried a few of them.
He
went on to say, “You bet.

I thought of how casual that sounded as a response. But it was friendly and comforting.

He said, “You think youre walking on your own, not only am I with you I carry you.

Then He showed me the yoke that held us together.

I was sparkley, bedazzled, gems, jewels, rhinestones, etc!!
It was Beautiful! It wasn
t what we know of a yoke, leather, wooden, dirty, worn out…
He said, “I know you like pretty things; Im not afraid to look foolish with you.
-As in a man with a blingy accessory of sorts.

I said, “Thank You.

And fell more in love with Him today.

For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.Matt. 11:30
