Things are a shaking up here at the Hartman house. Where to start. Well. First we were experiencing some amazing and apparent blessings. Wonderful time together, and fairly open conversations. Recently there has been some disunity, tension, and just an uneasy environment. (for me at least) My dad and I have NOT seen eye to eye on many things. And there is some dirt that’s been kicked into the air and it’s really hard to breathe. But I pray. I am hopeful. I TRY to be who I am NOW and not who I used to be. But for some reason it still doesn’t feel “good enough” so I rely on GOD His love, acceptance, and His approval. I am so grateful that I have come to know Him as my true Father. So today today a monumental day in the lives at the Hartman house let’s just say there are going to be some changes more reliance and dependence on the Lord as our provider.

As I was walking home from dropping my car off to get an oil change this morning, approaching my home I prayed that God’s hand would continue to be over all that is happening, and who we are being in all of it too. I saw a HUGE hand over the entire house. There was heat that the Hand was giving off. It was a pressure cooker of sorts a popcorn maker.

I saw that there were a couple of kernels that have popped sooner than others and that God is turning up the heat in order to make the batch complete. The already popped kernels will have to endure the heat that is going to cause this last one to burst open. The hard shell WILL CRACK open! There WILL be a soft, light hearted, joyful awakening to this very important kernel! God WILL make this family complete IN HIM. So that we can be the salt and light in this world, a family that will FEED, because we are first fed. The pressure is on, the heat is getting hotter, and I am amazed. LORD YOUR WiLL BE DONE help me to be grace-FULL, Loving, and to patiently endure Your timing in all of this.

Please be in prayer for my family… as God takes us through some “hot” times… that we will not try and control the temperature on our own, but to WAIT on the LORD for His timing is PERFECT.
                 THANK YOU!

i am reminded of

Isaiah 48:10

See, I have refined you, though not as silver;
       I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.
