Devastation.
Tragedy.
Pain.
Haiti was a hard and harsh place a year ago when i went… the most beutiful land i have seen to date. in the entirety or my travels this year. i don’t have words to describe it. both the beauty and the darkness. AIM the organization i went with for the world race is setting up and sending teams of people down to Haiti… and there is possibly going to be a team that goes to Haiti to interceed for the counrty, the teams heading in, and the reclaiming of Haiti for the Kingdom of God… (the team to go down would stay in San Juan, DR where i have been before) it’s close to the border of Haiti… where that team would stay in the DR but possibly make trips to pray at the border too.
– These were the words from Miguel AIM’s DR contact… A Spiritual Son of Seth…we were in on a conference call that they had this morning regarding coordinating teams and people’s roles in getting help/relief to Haiti…here are his words… things he saw…
“difficult to breathe with the level of nausia… a school building hundreds of bodies crushed…a place to treat injured right next to the school…there was no more space. they won’t accept the people… the ones on the brink of death… i saw a weeping lady, cardboard covered her sister’s body, she died as she was waiting to get medical attention. People are trying to get out, the public transportation is locked up… it took about 3 hours to move about 30 mi… 5 DR peace keeping police officers were murdered… and the escaped prisioners are on the streets and they are not there to help… there is bad blood between the two countries… so those criminals are creating conflict with Dominicans.
The Lord wants to use this thing for this to humble and break to cling to compete brokenness…turn to God…
that the satanic dark stronghold has never allowed before.
the Prayer need is urgent… there is encouragement … there is hope… its heart wrenching and the Lord has us here and has given us the devine appointments and have led us so far … giving us the resources… the host the army to bring in the light.” (Miguel – our DR contact)

So… even before hearing this conversation… my heart was not quite connecting to this… to the fact of what has occured and is occuring. i didn’t like Haiti for the dark spiritual aspect and crazinesses… and said i would never go back… Now i am not saying i “want” to go back… but am feeling a tug at my spirit to go to the DR and interceed…and possibly go to the Haitian border to help…
Here’s how this even came about… TODAY… well…
the past couple days and even before that i suppose… i have asked God to
“teach me how to pray for other people”
we have been getting emails about AIM sending teams down or whatever… and i deleted them all because i didn’t want to go… or feel anything for going… until we were talking about it… Seth Barnes said really felt we were to get a team togther to go down and cover the place with prayer… because i don’t feel like i am gifted in intercession… i didn’t read into the conversation… until God said. “THIS IS HOW“
oh… crap… what? Go down there? i don’t want to…. i have asked Him for confirmation and He has been giving it to me bit by bit… we would leave on Thur… and Return the day i have my flight home from GA to MN… i don’t have the flight situation figured out… I will keep you posted… I could use the financial support in getting things paid for to get down there and whatever i need to do for the week or so… i may possibly have to reschedule my flight home from GA to MN if i don’t get back in time to make that return flight home on the 27th.
On my car ride home… God said…”You fell in love with me in Haiti… Now I want you to fall in love with My people.”
So… I’m working on it… PLEASE PRAY ABOUT THIS… and if you feel led… HERE IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO GIVE.

Prayer is powerful… really it is… especially in a place of such spiritual darkness… calling upon the angels to come down and reclaim His land… His people… we have to Belive it in our hearts and Speak it from our mouths… i told God in a blog not too long ago… Where You Go I’ll Go… What You Say I’ll Say… What You Pray I’ll Pray….
said the same thing for the first time in Romania at the Awakening conference… and His response to this… SONG… the words of a SONG… was “WILL YOU RACHEL?”
Here are some of the orphans we fell in love with in Haiti last February…
Hard to believe that about one year ago I was in Jacmel and Port-au-Prince doing ministry and now there is so much trauma and devastation. Our squad was the first on the World Race to do ministry in Haiti, so this is very special in our hearts. There are a few girls on my squad who have a strong passion and desire to minister in Haiti and build orphanages. This tragic news is breaking their hearts, yet also igniting the flame inside them to go back to help these people.
Things are looking like i am going to pray for a country… where i fell IN LOVE with God… I think can handle being obedient in this… His LOVE is all I need… I will do my best… but I NEED your help. THEY NEED OUR HELP…

Teri has helped set up a conference call for world racers to call in and just pray for the people and country of Haiti. Her passion is contagious. It is incredible to see God pull out the desires on her heart.
