Welcome to my blog!
Whether you’re my grandma, my best friend, a family acquaintance, or a random stranger, thanks for reading!
My name is Rachel Gagliardo and I’m just a Cleveland girl with a passionate sense of wanderlust and a radical love for Jesus Christ.
Check out this blog for the story on how I was called to missions and to the World Race, specifically:

I am currently a senior at Indiana Wesleyan University and will be graduating in April with a degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). I love foreign languages, cultures and the process of learning, so I decided TESOL would be a good fit for me. I speak Italian and am working on learning Spanish and Mandarin Chinese.
I have two younger brothers, Owen (18) and Adam (13). They’re pretty great and I love watching movies together and beating them at Settlers of Catan.
I like food. A lot. Thai food, Indian food, Macedonian food, and (of course) Italian food are some of my favorites. I will also never say no to ice cream or a Chipotle burrito.
I really enjoy listening to music and going to concerts. My favorite concert ever was a twenty one pilots concert in Cleveland that I attended with my brothers.
I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and I think it’s a really awesome city. #CLEpride #hometownlove
My friends can tell you that I communicate mostly through a variety of facial expressions, eat a bowl of coconut everyday, and am always up for an adventure (no matter what time it is, haha).
I’ve spent 2.5 weeks in Cambodia and 2 months in Macedonia. I fell in love with both countries, but each in their own different ways.
I am passionate about building relationships and listening to people’s stories.
I love road trips, Chacos, Nutella, my dog- Koda, drinking tea, capturing memories with a camera, ENO hammocks, thrift shopping, Audrey Hepburn movies, swing dancing, exploring new cities, Beulah Beach, game nights, cooking good food, maps, and laughing with friends.
Those are just a few things about me. Hopefully you learned something new! Thanks for reading and please consider supporting me and following along on my World Race journey.
