Here is my video from month 8 in the Philippines. This was my favorite month of the race so far. My team (Elohim) and team Amasian Grace were in San Mateo, Philippines (a little outside of Manila). We were surrounded by beautiful mountains. We spent a lot of time just helping out around the compound where we were staying. We knocked down walls, built fences, dug trash pits, played with and fed animals, and tons of other stuff. We had a weekend camp for some street kids from the city. It was one of my favorite ministries I’ve done on the race and these kiddos sure found a place in my heart. We also had puppies for the month- needless to say, I was in love at first sight.
PVT (parent vision trip) happened at the end of the month. I only got a little bit of footage because we did bar ministry. It was amazing and I wrote a blog about it a few weeks ago.
