Hello and welcome to my blog–this will be tracking my ventures around the world serving others in the name of Christ on what’s called ‘the World Race’. You may be wondering, what is the World Race? The World Race is a year long missionary experience where each month you travel with a team of people to a different country doing ministry: 11 countries in 11 months.

My name is Rachel and I’m so glad that you’re here to follow along. First things first, I would love to give you an overview of my blog so you can better navigate.

Next, if you are interested in following me as I do ministry, please click, ‘Follow Me’. This will allow you to be notified via email any time I update my blog.
As I journey along and you find yourself becoming more and more intrigued about my ventures and would like updates as I go along click: ‘Contact Me’. I would love to connect via email or possibly phone to ask questions, provide encouragement etc.
Lastly, I am in need of partners in my decision to pursue the World Race and for this experience I want to create what’s called my “home team.” You are the people in my life who will take part in this journey with me. Whether through prayers, financial donations, and/or offering emotional&spiritual support by checking in with me. This trip is going to be a growing experience, full of joy and challenges. Having a “home team” will be crucial for me to be successful on this journey and I would love for you to be a part of it with me. There are two ways you can partner with me:
- PRAYER. I believe God shows up in BIG ways when we ask Him and I would like to invite you to pray with me. Pray for this trip, my team and myself, and the people we will meet — both our ministry hosts and the local community in each place we will stay.
- Financial Support. In order for this amazing journey to happen I need financial supporters. I know that God will provide according to His plan. I need to raise $16,562 for this trip (this covers lodging,food, and transportation). I’ve already seen God stirring the hearts of others and if you believe that financial giving is something you feel led to do please click on the ‘Support Me!‘ tab at the top of the page.
