Month 11 has officially begun. The Philippines- who knew this place was made up of 7000 islands?! Not this girl!
You can see my blog that I wrote before the race with information and prayers for the Philippines by clicking here.
We flew from Cambodia on Wednesday morning, had a layover in China, and arrived in Manila, Philippines on Wednesday evening. A smooth travel day and the next one we have we’ll be headed to America!
There’s a ministry called Kid’s International Ministry (KIM) that we are working with here and so far it looks like a great ministry site. There's a variety of different ministries to be involved with here. I’ve heard it’s a favorite among World Racers!
KIM has two similar locations- one here in Manila and the other on the island of Mindanao (pronounced Min-duh-now) in the southern part of the country. My team will be working together with another team in Mindanao. We’ll be in Manila for three days then boarding another plane for the short flight down there. I’ve heard it’s in the mountains and a little cooler. Praise the Lord!

I’m sure you’ll hear more about this place as I get settled and start ministry.
We’ll be in Mindanao for about three weeks, then flying back to Manila where we’ll have our final debrief/celebration/tearful goodbyes with our whole squad….then it’s onto America!!
I'll be arriving in NC on June 21st and look forward to seeing everyone!!!
A lot happens in 11 months and there's so much catching up to do!
