If a picture's worth a thousand words then I've written one long blog for you all!
Malaysia. Month 9.  This month included visiting an orphanage, preaching in several churches, teaching english classes, putting on a Character Building class for local kids, and running children's and youth programs.  A whirlwind of a month with a lot of traveling but I've thoroughly enjoyed it

The sweet family we lived and worked with for the month.
They took good care of us and it was a blessing to be with them.

Felicia- the youngest in the fam. She loves having her picture taken!

The night market that sold a variety of Indian, Chinese, and Malay food

Tried all kinds of interesting foods. Fish is served whole- fins, tails, head, eyeballs.  I didn't eat the whole thing but did try a couple eyeballs. Not as bad as you might think 😉

Kids in our Character Building class.  Looks like we built some characters!

It got a little crazy sometimes with all the games and songs, but it was always fun!

Preaching in church about being content, just like Paul in Phillipians 4

Worship in our church

Worshipping with refugees from Myanmar who work in a rock quarry

Visited Precious Home, an orphanage, and got to spend time with the kids there

A beautiful country

So month 9 has come to a close.  In a few hours I fly to Cambodia to serve with another ministry there.  My team will be working in Kampot, Cambodia.  My hope for these last two months is to finish stronger than I started and to, in the words of Paul, "press on toward the goal for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus"
