Everyone goes through many deserts. The question is how do we react to those deserts? Do we get mad? Do we want revenge? Do we throw ourselves a pity party? Do we let the enemy win? Or do we fight? Do we let God give the justice? Do we talk to God instead of blaming Him? Do we still rejoyce and give Him the honor and praise that He’s due?
Isn’t that how we should react? It’s our circumstances (life) that changed. Not our God. Because no matter what happens in our life. No matter how shaken up it seems. No matter how hopeless. God is still God. He still remains. He’s still victorious. He still sits on the throne. And He’s still good.
So let us choose to still worship him. To still give him thanks. To still rejoice. To give Him the honor due to Him. To live out James 1 by giving thanks even in the hard times.
