I expect: to get very very hot, really really tired, see beautiful scenery and beautiful people, to eat things that should not be considered food, for everyone on the team to get on my nerves at one point or another, for me to get on every ones nerves at one point or another, to miss the comforts of home, to find that real community is extremely freeing and ridiculously hard, to learn new cultures and to experience things I will never forget, to gain 15 pounds in Africa, to wish I could take orphaned children I meet home with me, to get uncontrollably angry with the evil in the world but overwhelmed by the love and grace of God that I will see in the people I meet around the world, to grow in Christ and to love His church more.
