Happy 21st Birthday, Nathan! You are growing into an incredible man of God, walking out His truths, fighting for justice, and proclaiming the coming of the Lord with boldness. I wrote this song inspired by and dedicated to you as a reflection of God’s love for you and His calling on your life. God calls each of us for His purpose in different ways at different times in our life and then reminds us of who we are in Christ when we query “who am I?” Even the Bible greats, Moses, Samuel, and David asked God the question. And God answered “I am.” He is sufficient and as His chosen son, you are redeemed and transformed. Now, He is calling you to follow Him with reckless abandonment. God’s calling on your life is like that of Moses, Samuel, and David: He is calling you to set people free, to speak out visions, and to lead by proclaiming the Lord’s victory. And when you ask “Who am I?” Zephaniah 3:17 declares that the Lord is singing over you, comforting you with His love, and reassuring you that He delights in you. Nathan, the Lord delights in you! Stand firm in your identity as a beloved heir of the kingdom of God and humbly walk out His purpose for you in truth and love with boldness and integrity. I love you!
