10 days. 10 days til I get on a plane headed to reunite with my beautiful Squad in DC.
Needless to say, this has been a kind of stressful time, and I am more than likely speaking for my Squadmates as well… this “in-between state” I call it, is not fun to be in. Haven’t left yet, but the knowledge of something big looms in the future.
Stuck in monotony and repetition while you know that something brilliant, scary, huge, and transforming lies ahead.
But God is here too. He still teaches during the ‘sit and wait’ phases of life. When nothing seems to be happening and life just rolls by, ever so slowly.
Things the Lord has been saying to me…
Sit and rest.
Just worship me.
Spend time with me.
Come and rest.
When I worry. When stress comes in. That’s when He speaks ever so quietly again.
I can’t keep taking my eyes off Him. Not anymore. You shouldn’t either. Like I pointed out recently, He is standing less than 6 inches from your face right now… It’s time to stop looking elsewhere. Time to notice His loving gaze.
For those of you who are prone to wander. For those who can’t seem to sit and wait. For those who just need to rest. This is for you. (that’s me too, btw)
The Father loves you. You are just too busy to notice and let it change you.
Heard this the other day. “Busy. B-U-S-Y: Being. Under. Satan’s. Yoke.”
That does not sound too good. So take that silly yoke off and come take Christ’s. He’s been offering it to you all along. His yoke is light and easy. And I know it looks much better on you than Satan’s anyway.
How do we take up His yoke? Practically, what does this mean?
I think Dad just wants us to rest. Rest in Him. Remember Him. Just be with Him!

Financial update!
A big 'thank you' to all of you who came and talked to me this past Sunday at The Village! I was deeply encouraged and received a lot of joy interacting with everyone.
Thanks to everybody who bought bracelets! I have many more to sell, so if you want some- do not hesitate to get in touch with me and get one!
I still have $8,800 left to see God raise before January 1st to become fully funded!
Praise the Lord for His provision! Praise the Lord for already raising ALL the money needed for me and my entire squad!

The next deadline that needs to be met is October 1st! I have to have $11,000 in my account by then or I will be sent home 🙁 Something nobody wants. So, that means I need $4,300 by October 1st!
