Welcome to my blog!

My name is Phillip and I first want to tell you that Jesus is absolutely crazy about you! He came to seek and save all of us! Jesus lived the life we could not live. Jesus paid the price we could not pay. Jesus did all the work to bridge the gap between us and the Holy God. Do not miss the opportunity to know the Father's love that He has poured onto us!

This is how we know what love is:
Jesus Christ laid down his life for us.
And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.

1 John 3:16

What is The World Race?

It is a journey to 11 countries in 11 months to serve "the least of these" while amongst real and raw community. I will abandon worldly possessions and the typical 'American lifestyle' in the hope that through the name of Jesus, the nations might be glad! Glad in the truth that hope is found in Jesus. Glad in the magnificence that Jesus has rescued us from sin and death!

May the peoples praise you, O God;
may all the peoples praise you.
May the nations be glad and sing for joy

Psalm 67:3, 4

Why Go?

God completely messed up my life this past year. During this time He also pointed me toward missions. He told me that the things I was chasing after will only ultimately fail me. Then He gave me a new direction. God has given me "the desires of my heart" that Psalm 37 talks about! His desires have become mine! I want to see His Name proclaimed in all the earth!

I am finally satisfied with surrendering this short life. I am finally satisfied with chasing after the joy of my soul, Jesus, with everything!

He has burdened me with statistics that declare that 2.84 billion people are considered unreached. Which most likely means that they have never heard the name of Jesus, or what He has accomplished! To tell those people the greatest news, that is something worth leaving everything for!

For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile-
the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him,
for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in?
And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?

Romans 10:12-14

What Will I Do?

I will preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children who are trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, and bring the restoration and hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations for an entire year! I will be serving "the least of these" around the world.

And the King will answer them, 'Truly, I say to you,
as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers,
you did it to me.'

Matthew 25:40
