The Lord is SO faithful! The Lord has provided me with ENOUGH funds and PLUS some to meet the December 31st support goal deadline!
Literally two weeks ago I was hovering around $6,000. NOW I’m hovering around….
$12,200
Umm…yeah you read it right. With financial blessings from people that LOVE the Lord, I was able reach and surpass my $10,000 goal.
I not trying to brag on how much I have in my support account, but I will brag about how AMAZING and LOVING our God is! I will also brag about how FAITHFUL and OBEDIENT the people of God’s Kingdom are. I have received many donations on behalf of the Lord from people from all areas. Georgia, Florida, Australia, California, Colorado, M-I-N-N-E-S-O-T-A….the list goes on and on.
I want to extend an extra special shout out to Mrs. Blattner for providing one of the BEST Christmas gifts ever! I received a phone call from one of my squad leaders Christmas evening and she told me that a Mom of a fellow squad mate (Angie Blattner) was contributing $5,500 to S-Squad in order to help those who were short of meeting the deadline. There were five of us that were underneath the $10,000 mark and that contribution helped 3 out of the 5 go over the $10K mark. Myself and Amber were the only two short of the goal. What a HUGE blessing it was to receive $1,500 of the original $5,500. With the $1,500 added to my account I was now at $8,500 in support. I still had 7 days to come up with $1,500 to make it to the support deadline. I took a lot of praying and faith and also some inspiring words from our AMAZING support coach Laura Jacobs (Hey Laura!!!).
Three days later I was at mini-debrief in San Jose, Costa Rica and my squad leader Abby comes by me and says “hey you made it!” I was liiiike made what? Then she proceeded to say that I made my goal! The $1,500 came in due to a very generous anonymous donor who contributed $13,000 to the entire S-Squad! Wahhoooooo!! A HUGE burden was lifted off my shoulders! I knew my God would come through. I never ONCE doubted that support would come in, I just didn’t know HOW it would come in. FAITH played a huge role in keeping a positive attitude about it. It also helped that I had the entire S-Squad plus friends and family back home praying diligently for me.
I’m good for support until the next deadline which is March 31st, 2011. I need to be FULLY funded at $14,300 by that date. My goal is to try and get that support received as quick as possible so I won’t have that support cloud over my head and also so that I can help others on my squad that may need shout-outs or videos made in order to meet their deadline.
Lastly….
I want to send a BIG Thank you to all of you who have supported me leading up to this point. Gosh, I can’t even begin to tell you how thankful I am that you have chosen to partner with me in this ministry. Whether you gave $10 or $600 it all went directly to the Kingdom of God. Nothing is too small or too big in God’s eyes. You have contributed to His cause and you shall greatly be rewarded and blessed for it.
I want to send a BIG thank you to all of you have supported me by prayer. God listens to His children when they speak to Him. He heard all of your kind words you have prayed about me and the ministry I am doing. He heard you when you prayed for support to come in. Without the power of prayer, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
I want to thank the Blattner family for blessing me with one of the best Christmas gifts I have EVER received. The Lord’s timing is perfect, and I thank you so much for being obedient to His call to help support me and my fellow squad mates.
I also want to thank Mr./Mrs. Anonymous $13,000 donor to the entire S-Squad. Wow! I don’t even know what to say but thank you for blessing all of us with such a generous amount. If you could just shoot me an email to let me/us know who you are, I/we would love to pray for you by name J.
I also want to thank all the other anonymous donors that have come along. Thank you for your boldness and willingness support me even though you may not know me and I may not (ever) know you. Also, I’d love to pray for you by name, so feel free to let me know who you are J.
Whether you know me personally or not, we are all children of God. We all need to help each other out and I’m thankful you all have chosen to help ME out. I want to close by leaving you with a scripture from Ephesians that perfectly explains how we all need to look out for each other in times of need.
For through Him we both have access in Spirit to the Father. So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizen with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In Him you are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the spirit.
-Ephesians 2:18-22
