I’m looking at a massive ocean with no end in sight. Whenever I told people in Manila that we were heading to Puerto Galera for ministry, I see their faces light up and their expression of excitement for us. No kidding, this place is absolutely breath-taking. The site we’re staying at is only a ten minute walk away from the white beach front. But of course, there is a need here for us to address.
We are working with Threads of Hope. A ministry/organization that looks for a market for the bracelets that the locals here make. They’ve done a lot for the community here and helped provide them with more adequate means of living. Read what they are all about here. While we’re here, we will be doing some construction work, working with the youth, and some outreach.

We’re staying at a church right now, this is the main sanctuary.

The village in which they live.
