Since committing to
this mission trip, it has been one amazing journey.

God has been speaking to me in many
areas of my life, opening up my eyes.

I realize and pray and hope that this
mission trip not only blesses me, the people there, but many others who reads
this blog. I’ve been able to share my testimony with so many people that
otherwise I would never have the courage to share with. I pray that as you
follow what God is doing, you will begin to see that this God that I serve is
not a passive God, but an alive and active God, who loves you very very
much.

Recently there have been a lot of
deaths and sicknesses happening to the families of my friends. And it has come
to make me realize how extremely short our life is. We can’t be NOT reaching
out to the lost or think there’s plenty of time. WE DO NOT HAVE PLENTY OF TIME.
The time is NOW.

I’m also learning to trust Him in new
ways that I never thought possible in my life. For example, I used to think
that only pastors and people who are ‘full of the Holy Spirit’ will be able to
do signs and wonders, but as I read the book of Acts, like the apostles, I ask
God for great boldness and for signs and wonders to be done through my life in
Jesus name. It’s a promise that God gives everyone!

Acts 3: “29Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants
to speak your word with great boldness. 30Stretch out your hand to heal and perform miraculous signs
and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.”

And the other day while doing
devotional on the conversion of Paul, I was thinking, God has already chosen
certain people to do great things, so what about the rest of us ‘ordinary’
people? And I thought: If we’re faithful, teachable, God-fearing,
people-loving, He can use us too. But it’s not all gonna be smooth sailing and
nice all the way, for God says that we will have to suffer for His name.

Acts 9: “This man is my chosen instrument to carry my
name before the Gentiles and their kings and before the people of Israel. 16I
will show him how much he must suffer for my name.”

Am I willing to suffer for His name?
That was the question I asked myself. I told God that, God, rather a tough but
well-lived life, than a smooth, ordinary life.

I have also been showered with wisdom
from people too. In fact these past few days just have been incredible. On
Sunday a sister shared with me to not be anxious about support raising, but
pray, pray more. No need to drain your brain for ideas on how to fund raise,
instead God will give you a nudge on what to do. And until that happens, wait
upon God. It really changed my perspective on the whole outlook of support
raising. Thank you sister!

Yesterday (Monday), I got my shots for
free at a friend’s clinic, sponsored by him. I’M SO THANKFUL! Serious!

Today another friend sent me an SMS
saying that while she was praying yesterday God put my name in her heart to
pray for me. In her message there’s this incredible sentence:
你要筹的款项再大也不会大过神 (As large an amount the funds that you
need to raise, it is not bigger than God). Amen!

On top of all these, support has been
pouring in. I’ve now raised RM31,541 (56.8%)!! Thank you so much for your
generous giving and support! I am completely amazed at God’s provision. Truly
His grace is sufficient.

HONESTLY I CAN’T WAIT TILL THIS RACE
STARTS!! If I have already experienced so much even before the Race has
started, it’s gonna be mind blowing when on the field! Do keep me in your
prayers!

Love in Christ,
