I started in March reading the book
of Psalms and reading a Psalm a day.

The book of psalms are filled with
songs and prayers to God. Some are joyful, some are angry, a full range of
emotions.

Lately, God has been talking to me
about worship through the psalms.

Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving;

   let us make a
joyful noise to him with songs of praise!

-Psalm 95:2

When you worship, you enter into the presence of God

Enter worship with thanksgiving

Worship is joyful

For the Lord is a great God,

   and a great
King above all gods

In his hand are the depths of the earth;

   the heights of
the mountains are his also.

The sea is his, for he made it,

   and his hands
formed the dry land.

Oh come, let us worship and bow down;

   let us kneel
before the Lord, our Maker!

– Psalm 95:3-6

When you’re thinking of all that God has done for you,
the only response is worship.

Sing to the Lord, bless his name;

   tell of his
salvation from day to day

-Psalm 96:2

Worship daily

Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice;

    let the sea
roar, and all that fills it;

   let the field
exult, and everything in it!

Then shall all the trees of the forest sing for joy

-Psalm 96:11-12

All of creation rejoices and sings to God

If things that are immoveable are worshipping God,
shouldn’t we as sons and daughters made in His image worship Him even more?

But worship is beyond singing. Paul
writes and calls us to “present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy
and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.”
  (Romans 12:1)

So that whatever you do remember it
should be worship to God.

Whatever  you say
or whatever attitude you have, it should be holy and acceptable to God.

And worship is
beyond circumstance. Because at the end of the day, it’s about God and not us.

Trying to live that out is a lot
harder than said. And I know I need to constantly ask God for strength.

To remember and try to live out my
whole life as worship to God
.
