Poured Out – Part 3

These are the events of November 14, 2014 written for God’s
Glory.

After Thomas and I left our second family we met up with the
rest of our group under a tree to have lunch. We each talked a little about the
families we visited. Darron was blessed by a family with a live chicken (dinner
for later). We then split off again. Thomas and I went towards the outskirts of
the village. We ended up visiting five more homes, encouraging each with a
specific message from the Scriptures guided by the Holy Spirit. I ended up
praying for a man who had been bed ridden for two weeks. He didn’t know what
was wrong and didn’t have the money to go to the physician. Jesus, You are the
great physician. I prayed over him three times and by the end his headache was
gone and his chest pain was better than when we started. I also had the
opportunity to pray for his three young daughters, they had coughs. At the last
home we visited for the day I prayed for a teenage girl who had malaria. These
are the things God had me do on this very long, adventurous day of November 14,
2014. I’m sharing them to say that you don’t have to be in the bush of Zambia
to listen to the Holy Spirit and say what He wants you to say and do what He
wants you to do. You can follow Him anywhere, so my encouragement for you is to
open yourself up to be used by God right where you are; to share Christ’s love
with the person in front of you. And even if you can’t see the fruit of your
labor in the moment, know that His Word does not return void. He will
accomplish what He wants to do and it’s our privilege to be a part of it. Go
make your own adventures with Jesus. God wants to write His story (History)
through you. Simply be obedient to the Holy Spirit and share Christ’s love.

Love,

-Paul
