The final strike of the match.
When you strike a match on the side of a match box the keys are friction and speed. The manufacturer has provided you with a good surface for friction and it is up to the match handler to ignite the match. It is best to use the full length of the striking surface to build up the most friction. However, it is in the crucial last bit of the striking surface where the match handler should flick their wrist to get the most speed and friction to cause ignition.
What I’m actually talking about is that the striking surface of the $7,000 match is coming to an end on January 15, 2014. Already, I have been overwhelmed by the abundant provision of the Lord. It is so incredibly encouraging!!
I still believe that the Lord can bring in the full measure of the match. He can do anything. Three days after I got off the phone interview with AIM I felt the Lord tell me that He would take care of the finances and not to worry about it. Eleven days later (the number 11 has been around a lot lately) I got a call from AIM that I was accepted on the World Race! I know without a doubt He has called me to this mission trip, the question is: Are you called to help send me?
As of right now, including all the pledges, $2,770 is needed to reach the match goal. That’s incredible! Thank you Jesus and those who are His hands and feet!! It is in these last few moments that the match is still on the striking surface where YOU the match handler can ignite the match. Yes, it is all in God’s hands, I’ve continually given Him reign over this, but those of us that are born again are His hands and feet here. We are His representatives; His ambassadors. The flame that will be lit is the Love of Christ. It has already been lit, but this match allows it to go out from your hands into 11 countries to bless the poor physically and Spiritually. Whatever you choose to give will have a much greater impact than you could know.
