This month has been amazing! We have been in Diriumba, Nicaragua living at a place called “la quinta”. This place was really amazing, i fell in love with each and every person i met here. Our ministry was to love on the teens and young adults at the quinta and tag along with them as they continued to run their ministries.
These teens really amazed me so much, they had such a heart for serving their community and God. We were able to share with them our own love for Christ in the things we did and talked about.
Each of these young people had a story about a life of abuse that they had come out of, and been set free from. The quinta brings these kids out of a place of misery and into a place of structure and education. They all have such an amazing joy that they are sharing with the people around them.
We would go into the Barrios with the teens and work side by side ministering to the children in the area, each of these teens have such a huge heart for children. They run weekly bible schools, sunday schools, dances, teaching english and teaching God’s love.
I was able to be a part of this community for such a short time but my heart is now with them. God has given me these friendships which i will treasure forever.
