The image was so vivid, bright blues engulfed each person as they were submersed in the water. New life beamed from their faces as they came up. I wasn’t sure who I was with, but I followed him into a secret space in the back of a store. I knew I was in an underground Church.

Just as we made our way into the space the meeting was compromised.

I tried to hide myself under a small blanket, however I couldn’t completely hide. The church was in flames and as one member ran out, I got the impression from him that persecution had to happen.

I awoke knowing the dream had been from the Lord, although I really had no idea what it meant.

I received that dream about a month ago, but before I get into what the Lord revealed about it I want to talk about the last year of my journey.

It has been a little over a year since I returned home from squad-leading X-Squad on the World Race. The past year has been full of growth to say the least!

I have spent my time worshiping with over a thousand young adults who went out to tell the world about Christ. I have been a part of leading two semesters of the Worship Track at Adventures’ discipleship school, the Center for Global Action. During these times I saw lives of young missionaries changed and equipped to live a lifestyle of worship. And on top of all this, I made a living by cleaning our offices in the evenings!

To be honest I was pretty settled and content doing what I have been doing. I was comfortable. But comfort is never a good place for spiritual growth.

“Lord take me out of my comfort zone.”

The Lord reminded me that I had prayed this a few weeks after the dreams when one of my friends invited me to join a team of three other men to do a trip called kingdom Journeys. Kingdom Journeys is a 6 month trip to China and India.

The focus of our journey will be to plant churches and bring the gospel to where it literally has never been. We will spend time working in areas that have no Christian presence. We will even be hiking into Tibet and bring them gospels!

“I am with you wherever you go, but I would choose the adventure.” This is what I felt the Lord tell me after I was invited to the Journey.

It was at that point that I knew my plans where about to change! The heart of man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps, Proverbs 16:9! This is the story of my life!

SO… I’m leaving the country again in a little over two months! Four months in China and two in India! I know the Lord has big plans for this, and I count it a privilege to go! I don’t know what lies ahead but I’m expectant that lives will be impacted for eternity!

I can’t make this happen on my own and am looking for a team to join with me and send me out on this journey! Would you take some time and ask the Lord if this is something you are supposed to be a part of? You can join my team by clicking the Support Bar on the top of the page!

I can’t wait to share all that God does on this trip!
