The body is composed of many muscles, but I’m learning the mind is one of the most powerful among its members. Mindset is key to success, not just in working out, but also in life.
Here’s what God says.
The mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind on the spirit is life and peace. Romans 8:6
Set your mind on things above. Colossians 3:2
Be transformed by the renewal of the mind. Romans 12:2
Be made new in the attitude of your mind. Ephesians 4:23
What our minds are dwelling on throughout the day is so important!

How is your mind today? Is it pessimistic or hopeful? Is it courageous or fearful? You are capable of more than you know; it’s simply an issue of the mind.
This morning we challenged ourselves with doing the highest number of reps in a minute on a variety of exercises. The awesome part of the experience was on the second round I beat all of the first round numbers. I thought I did my best the first time through, but I was capable of more.
Our minds set limits, or set us up for the unlimited. Jesus says all things are possible for those who believe. He means all things, but only for those who choose to go beyond their understanding and renew their minds according to the truth of God.
So I ask again, how is your mind today? The first step to achieving greatness in any area of life is simply one thought away.
