Almost Here!
I just wanted to write a brief update and let everyone know what the next few weeks hold as we draw near to the launch of the World Race. In just q few days I will be able to use my fingers and begin to count the days till I board a plane and head out to Florida to meet up with my team. We will spend a few days together in Florida, then we will be back on another plane headed for El Salvador.
In the mean time I will be busy trying to figure out just what i NEED to bring and trying to wrap my mind around the fact that I will be away from what I have come to call home for the next year! To be honest I am so excited to live out of a backpack! Moving out of my room at the Rawhide Boys Ranch made me realize how much I had accumulated, and I came to the conclusion that I DONT LIKE STUFF! Anyway enough about that here is a bit about the first stop on the Race!

A picture of La Libertad. Looks better than Wisconsin in December.
We will be serving in a city called La Libertad in El Salvador. La Libertad has a population of about 36,000 people and is best known for its great surfing. I don't know much about the particulars of the ministry we will be partnering with but I do know we will be working with the local church. We will be sharing our faith with those who haven't heard and working with the church to raise up missionaries. I am both excited and a bit nervous because Im not sure what to expect! I know that God will use us!
So for now thats all I know! Until January 9th I will just be getting prepared and also taking care of my family’s new dog, Murphy!

Murphy!
Please pray for my team and I, that our packing and travel would be stress free, and that we would just take life one day at a time living in the Love of our Father!
