Hey, thank you so much for visiting my blog for The World Race!
A little bit about me to get started off, I went to Appalachian state university (GO NEERS!) for three semesters before I came back home to Greensboro NC to get my real estate and contractor’s licenses. I have really enjoyed working in these fields but it still felt like something was missing. I love fishing and have done so all of my life, there’s nothing quite like being in the middle of the ocean and hearing a reel buzz from a fish hitting it. Martial arts are also a huge part of my life and I’ve learned many important values in life through my training.
But most importantly my faith is the biggest part of my life and has gotten me through a ton! After coming back home and working and weighing all of my different options between continuing to work, going back to school, doing both, and other career opportunities I kept praying that God’s will be done and that whatever I ended up doing would be the right decision and that I would glorify him in all that I did.
That’s when the world race came on my radar and after a lot of praying that if this is what I was meant to do it would work out and talking with a bunch of people very close in my life, I got accepted and will be heading out of the country for 11 months starting in January 2018! Thanks for taking the time to read all of this and feel free to leave a message in my contact section of this blog!
God bless,
Parker Yost
