For those of you who only know me as Parker White and nothing more, this is for you. So, i’ll give you the short version of these last 18 years and tell you as much as I can about myself in this snippet of a blog. I was born in Vicksburg, Mississippi on June 3rd 1996 and moved around the age of 6 to what I would now call my hometown, Niceville Florida. I’ve grown up in the church and my amazing parents have always shown the importance of living a Christ-centered life. My two older brothers, both having graduated college and who are now seeking further degrees have always played a huge role in my life. From the persistent jokes and rough housing to the bonding over family dinners they have both made me who I am today. Even though my family is extraordinary thats enough about them, for now. I personally have always been a man of many passions, however; while some have come and gone soccer has always been one of the prominent loves of my life you could say. While times are good and bad and when friends come and go soccer is something that was always there, just like the Son of God, Jesus Christ. My life now doesn’t revolve around soccer or friends like it used to, but instead around Christ. After graduating high school and going through some of the hardest times of my life I knew that I simply couldn’t live like this anymore. It wasn’t a flip of the switch, but as I progressively gave my whole heart to the Lord and began so seek him with all I had it lead me not to just new friends, the world race, or even happiness, but to an overwhelming joy that has never left my side.
