I’m on my second month of ministry and this month my team and I are working in a small village outside of Kampot, Cambodia. We will be teaching English to the kids and teaching them about Jesus, speaking at the local church, and helping out around the village planting rice fields. The world race is finally becoming real to me compared to last month in Chiang Mai, Thailand where we stayed above a café, had amazing meals cooked for us every day, and took in the amazing views of the mountains along with an elephant ride and bamboo rafting, but this month is completely different. In the village we are staying at we will be teaching the kids outside in small grass huts, our meals consist of chicken and rice everyday with ducks, dogs, chickens and geese scrambling around our feet as we eat. We shower only when it rains or we can scoop water out of a bucket to pour on us. The people living here don’t have much but yet everyone you see has the biggest smile on their face and is so friendly. It has made me realize how back home we have so much and yet we’re still not content with what we have and always want more. My living conditions for the next month may sound rough and crazy compared to what we’re all use to but out here it’s just there way of life. So over these next several weeks I’m excited to see how God moves in the peoples lives here in the village and the amazing plans He will carry out in my life as I serve and love on the village people here in Cambodia. Also please pray for my team as we serve these beautiful people and if you would like to support me I’m still not fully funded yet and any donations would be very much appreciated!!
