Hey everyone!

We are in the boonies of Cambodia. Yep. We are tenting in the church building, eating all our meals outside, using squatty potties and showering in the same area, and washing all our clothes by hand. This is Cambodia for me. It’s simple. It’s beautiful. It’s challenging.

My next and last financial deadline to stay on the race until the end is on March 1st! I am over $5,000 away from meeting it. Would you please consider helping me reach this goal? Thank you so much for your support!

Here is month 5 of my race…

Here is our home. We have 7 tents with 7 girls (For a week we had two squad leaders so it became 8 girls and 1 boy). Every Sunday we pack up to prepare the space for Sunday Service.

Sunday morning service starts at 7:30.

It is customary to leave your shoes at the door.

Church family taking a pic together.

Every afternoon (Sunday-Friday) we teach English class to the neighborhood kids. Our classroom looks very different from my classroom back home.

Classroom #2 and also our dinning room

Sok lip and I. I have been giving her one on one classes. She’s got her alphabet down 🙂

During the mornings (Monday-Friday) we walk the neighborhood praying for community members and help Pastor proclaim the Gospel.

We are filming our travel for the World Race Documentary Project. I am co field producer with my teammate Kelsey.

We see a lot of neighborhood kids on the prayer walks we do a couple times a week.

And we get the chance to lounge in hammocks and relax.

With love,

Paola
