Month Malaysia and Lots of Rest

Pardon the fact that my blog is malfunctioning, but I’ll just give a simple overview of this month.

Changlun, Malaysia. I got here and started feeling weak. And then, well…one thing led to another, and I ended up in the hospital with heat exhaustion, low potassium and sodium, passing out, and Jesus telling me that He wanted me to spend this time resting and spending time with Him. A spiritual retreat by default. (Photos 1 and 2)

And then (Photo 3), you should meet Felicia, who visited me at 1:00 every day on her preschool lunch break. She’s four years old and lights up the room any time she enters. She and her brother and sister–our contacts’ whole family–are SO lovable!!

(Photo 4): This is what English class looks like when you’ve gone overtime and someone calls out, “Let’s play Ninja!” I was only able to be at one class before I got sick, but Rachel and Trevor did an incredible job taking over classes and having fun with it!
