It's hard to believe that February 7th marked two months since I've been back home from last year's adventure around the world.

CRAZY!!!

I feel like so much has happened, especially through the whirlwind of celebrating the holidays and a new year. When I think about what I was doing 2 months ago… 4 months ago… 6 months ago… It seems as if it was all a dream. It's hard to sum up what happened last year- but it's definitely no secret that my life was completely transformed. And for that, I am forever thankful!!!!!

It took me awhile to sit down and begin "processing" through what exactly happened last year… But being that I'm giving my testimony to the youth group at my church tomorrow night- I decided to put together a video of some of my favorite moments on the race!  Please feel free to check it out (http://vimeo.com/m/86389310)!!!

I'm not going to sugar coat this and say that it was easy putting this video together, (which is probably why I procrastinated so much!). It was HARD. Despite how hard it may have been to leave behind life as I knew it 13 months ago, and embark on a leap of faith journey… It didn't take me long to fall in love with that lifestyle. The lifestyle of community, Jesus, love, and freedom!!!!! And I miss my team of girls. My first few weeks home definitely weren't easy, especially without having my "family" of girls around- the girls who lived beside me every single day… every single hour… for 11 months…

It can sometimes be hard for me to let go of seasons and move onto the next. But if I learned anything this last year- it was to embrace CHANGE – in full faith that God is working behind the scenes for GOOD in my life 🙂

And I've already been blown away by His faithfulness in 2014. Not only did I have the chance to reunite with my squad in the beginning of January, but I've had tons of fun catching up with some great friends on lunch dates here and there and helping out with the youth group at church, and even landed a new job as a Treatment Consultant for an industry that I'm super passionate about: addiction and substance abuse recovery :))

Life is good! So even though it may be hard to say goodbye to The World Race Season in my life- I am filled with so much hope for the future, "for I know the plans He has for me…. plans to prosper and not harm me." (Jeremiah 29:11)

THANK YOU for following me and supporting me on this journey! May God continue to bless you and your family :-))

With much love,

Pamela
