Dear Family and Friends,
I hope this letter finds you well! I’m writing to let you know about some new things that have been happening in my life. Over the past few months, God placed a strong desire in my heart to want to do something more with my life, rather than just continuing to climb the corporate ladder. After spending lots of time in prayer asking God to reveal what He had in store for me, He led me straight to The World Race.
The World Race is a Christian mission trip through a non-profit organization called Adventures in Missions (AIM). It’s an 11-month journey to 11 different countries. Through adventure, ministry, community, and self-discovery, World Racers develop broken hearts that propel their hands to act for God’s kingdom around the globe. I am scheduled to leave in January 2013 and will be visiting the people of China, Philippines, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Albania, Romania, India, Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania. My team and I will be partnering with local churches and ministries to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children who are trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, teach in the classrooms, and bring the restoration and hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations.
This is definitely the largest leap of faith that I’ve ever taken, but deeply know in my heart that He will provide for my needs! Ultimately, my prayer is that He will do that through you. I’m writing to boldly ask if you would consider partnering with me on this journey prayerfully and/or financially. In order to go on the World Race- I must raise $15,500, which covers all of my travel, food, and lodging expenses over the next 11 months. My first deadline of $3,500 is due in 3 short weeks- 9/29/2012. This financial support can be given as a one-time gift or as monthly donation, where you select the amount and start/end date.

If you can’t or choose not to donate financially, I ask that you please keep my team in your prayers over the next year. This process can be burdensome at times, but overall it will be an awesome opportunity to see God show Himself strong.
